Beautiful new guest house in Nong Khiaw.
Up market and a bit more expensive but worth every cent after the long boat ride up the Nam Ou. $25.00 inc breakfast.
Rooms are the biggest we seen in Laos and have seperate bathroom with good hot shower. Large balcony with hammock overlooks village and river. Hi-speed internet is available at avery reasonable rate.
Lovely restaurant and very helpfull staff.

The Guest house is a nice pleasure after a long time having Nong Kiau with little options to choose from. A danish-japanese couple extablished the place with style and comfort. I stayed there already three times. Big Bungalow, view into mountains.

Staff was alwasy friendly and a source of information to explore the area. Bets choice if you have not enough time to make your drive up the Nam Ou to Muang Ngoi.

The name is Riverside, just across the bridge if you arrive with bus or boat.

Actually now Riverside is offering Internet and WIRELESS...can you imagine, this is in Nong Khiau. Bikes for rent there for about 50.000 K. And still as beautiful as before now with 15 Rooms instead of the 8 or 10 from the beginning. I Think its better than ever up there.

300,000 kip for Nov 08 high season. Pricey but if you consider 3 in a room / extra mattress, plus 3 breakfasts and after cycling 140 kms from Luang Prabang, this place was heaven.
