Located 10 minutes south of town, we have lovely wooden riverside bungalows with hammocks and the best view of the Mekong on the island. While the bathrooms are shared, we claim to have the most beautiful shared toilets in all of SE Asia!
Visit the MSG-free Paradise Restaurant. The menu includes an inland information section and the best map of the island on the island. Our International Book Exchange benefits the 'Children's Fund' providing emergency medical/dental care for island women and children.
Free Wifi with Breakfast purchase from 8:00 to12:00 noon.
All bungalows have 24 hr electric and fan.
Our Paradise Exercise Program includes hammock swinging, page turning, curls of the liquid of your choice... and more...

This sounds perfect. How do we contact you? We are due to arrive at Don Det in the next 7-10 days.

PDRY / Lance - if you are going to try and pimp your own spam, it's a really good idea to comment on the net for a while first. This makes you appear a lot more believeable. The technique of making one post to pimp a spam post is so transparent...

@Madmac - think you may be off the mark - I don't think the two posts are related...

Hi,
MADMAC, no idea who you are but I just want to find somewhere to stay on Don Det and nowhere has websites and this came up in google. Surely it's only SPAM if you don't want to read it.

Somtam - you got to admit it looks suspicious. You have better data to suss on that one of course. So I'll trust your judgement.

@madmac Rather than policing my posts, maybe you've been there before and can help?

Sorry Hombre, I have never been there before. I'm not a big Laos fan. Hope you have a good trip though.

Is good so far, just not so much info beyond Vientiane but guess will just have to go with the flow.

Alright -- moving on ...

We've got a bunch of places to stay listed in our Don Dhet coverage, though it's quite dated (our man in Laos just landed back in country) the above place doesn't ring any bells to me, though Paradise is a pretty common name... and hasn't listed any contact details, so I'd say ask around when you get there - Don Dhet is not a big place

Thanks very much
BTW @somtam2000 saw on your profile you are looking to go the Philippines. We just spent a month there and loved it! All the info is on our blog, but I can guarantee you'll have a great time.
