Nong Khiaw Riverside - very uncorrect - be awere of

Hello travellers, I've been a guest in the Nong Khiaw Riverside in Nong Khiaw at the end of January (24/25 of january).
The place is nice but they are very uncorrect.
I've still got their mail in which they priced me the bungalow 30 USD.
On our arrival there they said "no, it's 38 USD, i've told you 30 euros".
But that is not true they said 30 USD.

They have done the same uncorrect thing whith a couple of franch and another couple of italian during my stay. They have made "the business" with the italians by phone. First 30 USD and then when you are there 38 USD.

you see it's not for the 8 USD, a breakfast for me, nothing more, but i found very uncorrect this way of working and I would like to put a bad advice on them in this forum that has been very helpful for me to plan my travel between laos, vietnam and cambodia

I understand how you feel.

I went there and where they had said a price for a riverview room, when I was shown the room it was looking at the hill. They said I must have got a wrong idea. I went elsewhere, paid less, and had a much better experience.

I stayed at Sengdao GH.

I can't recall the exact cost, but I remember thinking at the time it was about 20% less than Riverside GH.
