    If you're interested in supporting village-produced handicrafts (bamboo baskets, handwoven textiles - some with natural dyes, silver jewellery and more, visit Saoban Shop in Vientiane. Set up with help from PADETC, a Lao NGO, it helps village artisans market their work. Staff are lovely, helpful and can arrange craft village visits (a new service).
