I noticed this wasn't in the Muang Sing accomodation section.

Excellent views over the rice fields from a balcony upstairs - including a big table where you can eat/drink/read. The rooms were clean, beds were good, hot showers..

If you are in the centre of Muang Sing - if there is one?! - just walk in the direction Xieng Kok. You'll come to a cross road, on the right is a guesthouse - the road to the right leads to the Sing Charlern Hotel [mentioned on TF]. The road on the left leads to Chanthimmeng.

The staff were unfriendly; barely acknowledged us most of the time but it didn't matter too much. The view is the main selling point.

Double and Twin rooms are available. We paid 50,000 for a double although when we signed in we noticed everyone else paid 60,000. This was Oct 09
