Hello,
I am trying to picture how can I backpack through Cameron Highlands in backpacking mode. As far as I know there is no 'hop on/off' bus available so options left are taxis, bus or renting a car.I am not keen on taxis and hiring a car as we are on a budget but I wonder if you decide to travel on a bus, can you make the bus to stop wherever you want (tea plantations ,butterfly farms) and then join in for further travel? This would be my first time in SEA so I am a bit confused/overwhelmed by the info available. Any ideas appreciated:))
Hi fox,
mmm ,yes, no hop on /off buses around Cameron HIghlands. But the hotel/guesthouse can make arrangments for a day tour on the vans. Besides that you are left with few options. Taxi, Hike/trekk or cycle..
