I'd like suggestions for where to stay for 2 nights in KK. We'd like to be well located so we can explore the city on foot during the day and also safetly at night. Also, would like to be in walking distance of the waterfront so we can easily visit TARP.
Looking for a double room for 2 adults that woudl cost about $30US or less. Thanks!

We stayed at Summer Lodge (www.summerlodge.com.my) which meets your location requirements. It's nice enough but more of a hostel than a hotel and some rooms don't have ensuite bathrooms.
