Really need to find out what train options are available to travel from Kota Bharu or Tanah Merah on the east coast to KL. I can only see routes from KL to the above but not the reverse.
Can anyone point me in the right direction as we need to get to KL in a week and we'd prefer a train as our mode of transport if possible.
Thanks in advace.

Hi chicoelnino,
Yeah, looks like the link is broken. I ve tried searching the reverse direction too and it proove useless. However, I had board a train once at wakaf baru(kota baru station) to Kuala Lumpur. It was night train, and I took a 2nd class ticket ( I think there is a first class sleeper too) and reaches KL the next morning.
