Hi, I have 8 days to spend between Kuala Lampur and Penang. I know that it will take most of a day to travel between the two, so of the remaining 7 days, how should I split them up?
I'm not interested in heading to the beach, and I will have already been to Melaka. I was thinking of a day trip to the Batu Caves, though.
I was thinking 3 days in KL and 4 days in Penang. Does that sound good?

Hi,
Sounds indeed like the right balance. Batu Caves can be done in half a day. You may also be interested in visiting FRIM (Forest Research Institute Malaysia) along the way.
Chinatown KL is also worth a visit.
