hey
We are travelling to malaysia for 2 weeks between 14 august and 28 august and wanting to stay for 4 nights on the Perhentian island (besar) and are having trouble finding any vacancies. We have been offered one room at Coral Reef Resort with a disclaimer that its near generator and is "a little bit noisy". Has anyone stayed here? Is it bearable noise? Or does anyone know if you can get accommodation by just catching the boat over there?
Or is there a booking office you can book through as we have found several resorts that don't offer online booking and don't respond to emails.
Any help would be great, Thanks

get yourself aquainted with local term,s: its the big feast at end of ramadan-Hari Raya just in the mid of that term. So just grab whatever you can find and praise yoruself enormous lucky to find something available.Or change plans.
Prepare yourself also for overcrowded transport any time.
