Hi guys.
Sorry to hit you with yet another post about travel Itineary but im kinda struggeling finding answers. (have been surfing the Internet for days).

So my boyfriend and i are leaving the Cold north Europe for 3 weeks in january.

Flying to and from singapore.
We Will spend some days in Singapore visiting a friend.

Basically the question is, West peninsular or borneo this time a year?

For West peninsula we Think: taman negara, penang, langkawi and some days in Thailand koh lipe for the Beach and snorkeling.

For borneo: climbing mt. Kinabula, Day visit to island gaya or so, and then the uncle tan Tour on Kinabatangan.
We do however Also want to spend some time on a Beach and snorkeling - is this possible on borneo in mid january?


Might add that we travel on budget and dont have the possibillity of staying at luxus resorts.

Would really appriciate advice, as im so confused!
