i am backpacking asia. will be mostly living in hostels, just need some guide into a good website (genuine and reputable) which i can use for all my internet booking without dramas I came across http://www.hostelworld.com/ they seem professional. Love to hear feedbacks if any
also been finding really difficult to get information on train ride from malaysia to singapore, tried to book train from KL to woodlands(singapore) on http://www.ktmb.com.my/ its giving me server error
thanks

1.sleeps: that site is OK-but a little pricey. Simply google and find scores more. THEN try google to see if that place has a own site-thats usually the cheapest. traditionally hoStels are rare in MY and mainly aimed at ignorant young people who know no better. Good travelguidebooks have plenty of other suggestions.
IF you still want to use HW-then check if that place is maybe also on booking.com-as it does NOT charge extra for making a booking.
2.do not bother too much with trains- BUSes run 2-3 per hour and also direct from about any main MY town-and set you down at more conveneint SIN locations too. FROm KUL from the southern bus stesyen, not Puduraya.

Thanks captain, good suggestion even air asia flying in singapore is much cheaper. most probably will fly into singapore. I just need a receipt for onward flight as i am coming from australia(Oz citizen) with one way ticket,
i am choosing hostels as i am backpacking, i will be spending more time outdoors than inside thus need nothing flashy just a cheap sleep. it will be something new for me thus looking forward
what are good places to visit malaysia, i will be there for two weeks. i just want good food and nice places near water with friendly people.

Railway fares travel is among the most trusted modes of transportation ever known to mankind. It has its very own unique identity when travelling from diverse locations. Your train ride could be grouped in short, medium and long journeys.
