How can go to Singapore once in Kuala Lumpur? I would like to avoid a plane. Bus? Train? How long does it take?

Grace Bus is quickest (about 5 hours) and cheapest as it roars along the freeway. For a reference site, try: http://www.journeymalaysia.com/ptasingkl.htm This is a direct bus. You can also split your journey KL > Melaka > Johore Bahru > Singapore. Train is slower (about 8 hours), but perhaps more enjoyable.
