Nice beaches peninsular Malaysia in first half of Feb

    Hello,

    I was wondering if anyone could recommend some nice beaches/islands to visit in Malaysia during the first half of February. If my understanding is right, this will be the monsoon season on the east cost. Am I right about this?

    I have visited Langkawi already so would prefer to go elsewhere. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

    The Perhentians should be well on the way to reopening by Feb, so that is worth considering, otherwise there are a couple of half reasonable beaches on Penang.

    Thanks. I would love to visit the Perhentians but I was under the impression that they wouldn't reopen until mid Feb due to the monsoon season.
