Hi everyone,
Does anybody knows what is the best way to go to Melaka from the Perhentian islands. Is it possible to do this without going through Kuala Lumpur again?
We are doing a loop.
Kualalumpur-Cameron Highlands-Perhentian Islands-Melaka- and back to Kuala Lumpur.
We're doing this trip in 14 days.
Thanks a lot for your help

Well, Kuala Lumpur is on the path southwest between the Perhentians and Melaka and is the transport hub for the country -- it'll take you more time to NOT pass through KL on the way to Melaka.
If you really don't want to pass through KL again, you could go from Kuala Besut (mainland town nearest the Perhentians) all the way down the east coast to Kuantan. From Kuantan you could get a bus to Melaka.
Of course, connections won't be quite as frequent (as opposed to connecting through KL) and this route is slower.

Get to Kuala Terengganu from Kuala Besut. Nice coastal town with some interesting places to visit.
And get a night coach, direct service from Kuala Terengganu to Melaka. Cepat Express.
