Biking from Vietnam to Thailand

    Were planning a trip to fly to Hanoi, buy a motorbike and go across, through Laos then down into Thailand to the Gulf of Thailand. Is there any thing we should take into consideration? I heard about problems with ownership of bikes and travelling between countries around there, is this true?
