First time Motorbike in Vietnam

    Hi all,

    I am in Sapa right now and will be going back to Hanoi on the 31st and am wanting to bike Hanoi down through the south.
    I have no experience riding motorbikes, but do have experience on the scooter. Is it possible to get an automatic motorbike? If not, is it hard to learn to ride a semi-automatic bike? I definitely do not want to get a manual bike. Also, what would the best type of bike be? I know Minsk's are popular, but I am not sure if it would be suitable for me.

    What are other peoples experiences motorbiking through Vietnam, and any tips and advice is appreciated!
