Hi all,
We just had a great three day ride with Hue riders, starting in Hoi An we went over the Hi Vanh pass to Hue then the HCM trail to Khe San and finally through the DMZ to Can Do....
Fantastic trip with great guides. There were four of us so two were pillioning and two riding at any time.
I think the costs for the three days was $90 for 2 with guides and $60 for the two self rides.
I would caution anyone who considers themselves and experienced rider in Australia to seriously consider a do it yourself trip in Vietnam. Scooting along at 110kpm on Australian highways does not compare to the top speed of 60 kpm in Vietnam or prepare you to dodge trucks, chickens, goats, children and dogs that you come across in Vietnam.
Then there is the value add of the guides, not only knowledgeable of local road conditions and history, what to stop and look at but also taking you out for meals in true local restaurants.
We had a fantastic trip!!
