Landing in Manila as it is too expensive to fly to Cebu but like the look of Cebu, Boracay, Palawan. Any suggestions to cheapest way to Cebu. Never been to Philippines before so any travel tips would be welcome

On the Superferry, A Manila-Cebu tourist class ticket is about 770 Pesos one way. The Mega value class ticket is 554 Pesos. You will need 1 day for the boat trip.
But if you book way ahead of time or during a sale, Cebu Pacific offers cheap airfares.

Agree with 'goonistik'. Advance bookingis the best way to get discounts. Philippines is a great place andoffers wonderful architecture, landscapes, beautiful beaches, marvelous buildings and cathedrals, museums and much more. One mustvisit Bohol Island in Philippines. It has an amazing natural beauty.Chocolate Hills is the major attraction here. You can also go forLoboc River Cruise. Bohol offers lot of entertainment along withspectacular views like Dolphin watching, Scuba Diving, visit the oldchurches, Clarins museum.

Interesting thing about Philippines is that the church at Philippines was the first congregation Paul established on the continent of Europe. And again Paul visited Philippines on his 3rd missionary journey.

Generally the prices of flights from Manila to Cebu are competitive as there are plenty of flights and four airlines plying the route. If you book in advance the promo prices can be as cheap as or even cheaper than the ferry and your journey is a lot quicker
