Hi all
As per the title, after traveling for 10 months we've decided to chill somewhere for a couple of months between the beginning of January and March, so we're going to apply for the 59 day visa and head to El Nido.
As we're avid divers we thought this would tick the box with Coron also being nearby
To help with the dwindling fund we thought we'd try and rent somewhere with a kitchen so we can cook our own food, is this possible? How would we go about finding a studio/apartment?
Open to any other suggestions around the area as alternatives. I've read the other recent post about staying somewhere for a couple of months and Baler is mentioned but not sure if the diving is that good.

Baler is better known for its surfing. Unfortunately, much of the coral reefs around Quezon province have been heavily damaged by dynamite fishing.
El Nido is a small town and I'm not sure if there will be a studio/apartment for rent with a kitchen. You can contact the local tourism office and see if they can recommend any rental properties. (elnidotourism@yahoo.com)

El nido is a wonderful location not only for your leisure pursuit but also for you to get in touch within your inner explorer. I recommend Golden Monkey Cottages which provides a ready accessibility to the wonders of El Nido
