Hi all!
Im travelling the Phillipines next march/april (yes during holy week) I have internal flights all pre booked as want it more as a cheap holiday then totally backpacking! backpacked a few years now and looking for more of a hotel type travel than hotel travelling.
the plan is
Manila 2nights
Boracay 5nights
Cebu 5nights
El nido 6nights
Manila 2night - Home
the problem is we dont no where to stay in cebu, we want to do 2 day trips one to oslob to see the whale sharks and the other to kasawan falls, both of which are a good 8hrs or so drive from cebu city!! can anyone recommend a place to stay that is both central, lots going on nice beaches, etc and is not so far from main attractions?
also does anyone have any recomondations for where to stay in el nido!

Moalboal, near the falls (which are a lot less than 8hr from Cebu city, unless you're on a bicycle) is a nice low-key tourist destination which is fantastic for diving/snorkelling. Thought the LP significantly underrated it; usually it's the other way round

actually, you can stay in the city.. nearby beaches like the one in mactan is just 15-20min drive depending on the hours you travel and going to oslob is from the city is just 3-4 hrs same with kawasan.

Its a road trip round south in CEBU.. So if you want to go to OSLOB and KAWASAN, they are both covered.. as well as SUMILON ISLAND and MOALBOAL beaches.. This would be really fun.
Also, I have contacts to El Nido, drop me a message if you are interested at 71oh7travels@gmail.com

Hi I hope you had a great tour. From Cebu City to Oslob, you can travel to Badian and experience Kawasan Falls. Laplaya Beach Resort was where we stayed at when we went there. This also Badian Island Resort and Spa where you can stay and relax. These are attractions in the southern part. Don't miss the new adventure rights offered in Danasan Eco Adventure Park in Danao (Cebu's northern part). You can also have your tours arranged. Ayala Center Cebu has a turista (tourist) desk.
