Hi I'm travelling with one other person for 7weeks from the end of February, we fly into Bangkok and will have 7weeks to travel all 4countries, we want to visit Buddhist temples, and historical towns around our trip, we also want to visit livelier places , maybe through Vietnam? And the islands off of thailand? We have no idea really on any plans so if someone can give us an idea we would be super grateful , like an itinerary ...and advice on travelling etc ... ! Thankyou!!!

hi ellie,
make your first stop the travelfish itineraries section at this link. http://www.travelfish.org/trip_planner/. it will give you some general ideas on places to visit. you might also like to have a general look around the planning section to get you started. you'll also find heaps of great general advice on the message board. once you've got some ideas, come back with specific questions and we'll help get you the information to put together a great trip.
also, for future postings, be careful to post your threads where you'll get the best response. for example, you've posted a question about thailand, laos, cambodia, and vietnam in the philippines section, so once it cycles of the login page, you won't likely get more replies.

i'm a pinay living in bangkok and have travelled in a lot of places around thailand and some in cambodia. we can help you better if you have specific questions so we can validate it and perhaps give you more suggestions/tips/advice.

And I think after you do that, you'll realize that 7 weeks really isn't long enough to do the large loop. It's a lot of road time. It seems like a small area, but it's not. And the transportation infratructure here slows you down even more. Unless you plan to fly to each country, you're talking a lot of unpleasant bus time packed eating into your 7 weeks. Thailand, Laos, Cambodia is probably a bit more reasonable.
