Nikon D3100 Batteries

    Hi All.

    Just bought a new Nikon. I'll need a few spare batteries and memory cards and was wondering whether its worth buying them in Kuala Lumpur or Bangkok. Can anyone confirm any current prices in Bangkok or KL?

    Any info will be greatly appreciated.

    In Manila, an original EN-EL14 battery is selling for about 2,600 Pesos, which is about US$60.

    To my best knowledge, prices for photo gear in Manila are a little lower than either Bangkok or KL. So the price of the battery will be about the same or more expensive by a few dollars.

    Appreciate that. The prices you mentioned are not far the my local price so i'll get them here. Just read gorkreg's as well and I'm new to this SLR stuff so I'd rather be safe. flying out Mon! Thanks
