Hello all - my girlfriend and I arrive at 12:45am on June 16 in Singapore, well really it's just our layover until our flight leaves for Bali at 4:45pm the same day. I've heard that Singapore is a small region and that we can do some exploring in that small time frame. I'm wondering if anyone can suggest an place to stay for that one night (which must be open for a late check-in as it could be close to 2am). Also, any suggestions on what to do with our few hours in town? Or am I just kidding myself and we should just camp out at the airport until our plane leaves??

I can't recommend a place to stay but since you have so much time I definitely recommend going about. Head to the city centre area to see icons like the Merlion and Esplanade, and also the newly opened Integrated Resort, Marina Bay Sands.
If you are more into the beach, head to Sentosa. There is a Universal Studios and a casino there too.
Or if you prefer nature, head to Pulau Ubin. It's very close to the Airport.
Find out more at my websites =)
