basically im young and want to be partying rather than in chill out places..ive heard langkawi is really nice, but where are the lively spots?
also how long would you have to spend in KL and singapore ?
i am thinking about doing langkawi,then ipoh,then KL, then singapore is there anywhere in between these places where there are sights to see or good nightlife or beaches?

Thanks for the more info.
Travelfish doesn't cover Malaysia (at the moment) so I'm a bit rusty, but Penang has quite a lively scene, as does Langkawi, though the latter can get pretty pricey.
Singapore has a surprisingly reasonable nightlife, but it is expensive! I'd give Sg 3-4 days and KL perhaps 5-6.
perhaps others will chime in with some more useful tips.
