Hi everybody,
I'm planning go to Koh phangan and want to stay in haad mae haad or haad salad. I'm looking for a resort which has swimming pool and in-room refrigerator. I found phangan utopia resort by internet and it looks quite nice but the resort is on the cliff ( i think). Can someone tell me how long is from resort to mae haad beach on walk? Is the road very dark at night?
Or other resorts that you recommended in the area?

Phangan Utopia is a LONG WAY from just about everything -- I wouldn't walk from there to Mae Haad. It's a very pretty spot, but isolated.
If you're looking for something more accessible, Green Papaya is a better option.
