Hi everybody! Has anybody stayed at Haad Tien Bay on Koh Phangan? I'm planning on staying there for a couple of weeks at the Horizon Muay Thai Camp, i've been training Muay Thai for a year in the U.K and will also be training in a few different places in Thailand, to experience proper Thai training. I've read a bit about the Bay but was wondering if anyone has any personal experiences they'd care to share about the place? Also if anyone has any tips for Koh Phangan they'd like to share as well i'd be happy to hear them? I'm not really a big party animal, more into relaxing and nature, if that helps? Thanks in advance for any help, Peace and love, Danny J

Hi DannyJ,
I've stayed on Haad Tien a few times it's a good spot. Horizon is on the headland overlooking the bay, and while their huts are pretty rustic, the views are excellent. The bay has weekly parties at Guy's Bar which run till the early hours and there's over a dozen places to stay between Haad Thien and Ao Why Nam (next beach north) and Haad Yuan (next one south) so there's loads of options for eating and relaxing.
If you like nature, be sure to do the walk from Haad Thien to Haad Rin - very pleasant.
We'd be interested in hearing how you go with the Muay Tai course...
