Can anyone recommend any good websites/youtube vids/etc. that may have Thai langauge lessons or pronounciations for newbies. I consider knowing how to say a few basic things in the any country's language a requirement for visiting!

    Thanks!

    Hey there!

I definitely feel the same way, I think it's rather imperative to know at least a few basics of the native language when visiting a foreign country. I've found some videos on youtube that were actually quite helpful, this is the link: http://www.youtube.com/user/learningthai#p/u/3/pzFlzsPeN-g

This site has also been pretty helpful:

That should cover the basics! Have an awesome trip!

There are a few freebies in the Podcast section of iTunes. Pink Chili, Thai Survival Phrases, and a couple of others.
