I am going to Thailand for 4 weeks, teaching in Kao Lak for 3 weeks and then I have 1 week left to travel returning back to Phuket to fly home.
I am really stuck for where to travel to and see in such a short space of time. Any ideas of the absolute must sees?

Angkor Wat is so iconic, I would try to fit that into a 1 week visit.
But with such a short time you're really better off sticking to 1 country so you could visit Ayuthaya or Sukhothai in Thailand for temples.
There are direct budget flights between Chiang Mai and Phuket, so you could check out the north.
