I will be travelling to Thailand nov 12th..as it is my first time..and
I will be arriving late in the evening I am a little concerned about where to stay my first night and how to get there..can anyone recomend a good spot for meeting other travelers and recomend the best way to get there late in the evenign

Khao San Road is the traveller's favourite -- over a hundred places to stay and more backpackers than you can poke a stick at.
From the airport you can get a taxi or the airport bus (depending on how late you arrive).
