Hi Guys,
Looking to get from Thaton to Chiang Rai on a longtail boat.
Are they easy to find in Thaton?
Is there a regular schedule or do you just turn up & go?
How long does the journey take?
Any help - much appreciated

Don't have all the info, but just had some guests here, who loved the boatride from Thaton to Chiang Rai.
It's easy to find. When you get to the bridge, heading North, turn right before the bridge along the river, it's somewhere near there. There is a lady who owns a coffee shop that speaks English and some tourist info thingy there, too, so you shouldn't have any problems, once you get to Thaton.
Cheers
Mon and Kurt
