Hey,
Hoping someone has some ideas as haven't found much info for the areas between Phuket and Khao Lak : arriving in Phuket on the 17th November and making our way up to Khao Lak to jump on a liveaboard for the 20th so looking for a nice place to stay for two nights. Somewhere right on the beach with some cocktails and seafood would be ideal but as long as it is sunny and relaxing we really don't mind.
If anyone has any suggestions I'd love to hear them.
Thanks

Why not stay in Khao Lak? There is a huge amount of selection there with a lot of price ranges.
There is pretty much nothing in terms of places to stay in Thai Muang. The other options would be the Aleenta which is in Phang Nga just after leaving Phuket , or the Rayatavi Resort in Kok Kloy which is half way between Phuket and Khao Lak.

Thanks for the suggestions guava_girl
Wow, those places do look amazing but very much out out of our budget range - OK, so if I was looking for a place in Khao Lak at around the 1500Baht range and under any suggestions? Doesn't need to be anything fancy, just a beach hut would do.
Anyone heard anything about Sanuk Bungalows?
Thanks again

Go to Agoda and Latestays Thailand http://www.latestays.com/thailand/?s=2085 to see what is available in your price range - don't forget to check TRAVELFISH'S own booking engine to get a comparison'

If you go to the Khao Lak page on www.mozziebite.com you will find many options on different beaches in the area at different prices.
