Hi guys,
We're just about to head up to Chiang Mai and explore some of northern Thailand before crossing over into Laos for a couple of weeks. We're then heading to Hanoi and traveling south towards Saigon. Around the 15th of December when our Vietnamese visas run out, we're crossing over into Cambodia. We'll be here for a couple of weeks which means we will be here for christmas and new year before heading over to Bangkok and flying to new Zealand. Ideally we want to try and find a friendly guesthouse that will make things feel a bit more like christmas away from home.
We can potentially be anywhere in Cambodia at this point so Im just wondering if anyone here has spent this time in cambodia before, and how did they find it? Out other alternative is to move our flights to new zealand by a couple of weeks and spend it there but we're on a budget and this time will be very expensive there.
