hello
I would like to start my holiday (the week before christmas) with a few days on the beach on my way to Cambodia...Will I need to book a bungalow before I arrive in Thailand! Also I am travelling alone and on a tight budget so I prefer to avoid the honeymoon/couples favourites style beaches...kan maak really appeals but any suggestions would be very welcome.....
Thanks in advance
Well Ko Chang is the most common stop enroute to Cambodia, though Ko Maak is also very good. Things will be busy over Xmas, though you'll be able to find budget lodgings... See the Ko Chang and Ko Maak sections for details
