Hello guys,
I am about to book tickets for Bkk Surat Thani & Bkk Chiang Mai on Traveller2000. They require you to fill in a form and fax your credit card and passport to them. I found the company on the seat61 website and it says they are a reputable company. I was just wondering if anyone else had used them and could vouch for them? Also, is this safe to do a booking this way? many thanks

Hi Re,
I haven't used the Traveller2000 company so I can't comment on them. Sorry. At the suggestion of a fellow travelfisher, I used the Charlie Connection Travel and Tour at http://www.travelconnecxion.com/ to book my train tickets in advance for last summer's trip. Everything was done over the internet. I had to provide passport details and credit card info via a secure webserver, but I didn't need to fax anything. Once the bookings were completed, I just dropped by their office near KSR to pick up the tix.
I noticed that Somtam mentioned this company to you in a previous post of yours asking about booking train tickets in advance too. I hope this info is useful. Cheers.

hey thanks exacto. I checked out this website before. I will give it a look and compare the price of the other one. Thanks for all the info, it really is helpful to hear another persons perspective on companies they have used.
thx

We used Traveller2000 from home last year to book overnight train from BKK>Nong Khai, as it was near Songkran and were worried that the train might book out when we needed to travel. Totally reliable and professional, the tix were waiting for us when we checked into our BKK hotel. I felt it was worth the service charge (I think it was 200 baht) for the peace of mind of having tix in hand when we arrived in BKK.
