Ok so im going to thailand for almost 90 days next summer. Im going to get a tourist visa of two months then extend it to 3. I am planning on going from Chang Rai to loas for a week then down to cambodia for a week or so aftwerwards. My question is if i have a 90 day visa when i leave the country does it still work? Can i use the Visa after i pass through loas and ccome back into thialand on the same Visa?

No.Once you leave Thailand it's invalid and you have to get a new one unless you have a visa with a double entry,in which case you can enter twice.

Assuming you will have a single-entry visa, it will expire when you leave Thailand. So either try to get a dual-entry visa in advance or get an additional tourist visa in Vientiane or Phnom Penh. Otherwise, depending on your nationality you can get a visa-exempt entry but then it's only 15 days when entering by land.

Yep, you got it. If you just time it so you do Laos/Cambodia toward the end of your trip, then just pop back into Thailand within 15 days of your flight out. That seems the easiet way and saves you two days waiting for a new visa in Vientiane or Phnom Penh.

Thanks im in Chang Rai for four weeks so if im going to go to loas at all it willhave to be after that. I guess il just have to wait at vientiane couple of days for visa. Cambodia i am doing at the end with less than 10 days between leaving cambodia and flying home.
