Hello,

Will arrive in Hat Yai at 1pm and plan to get a taxi/minivan which can accomodate 8-10 person to bring us to Surat Thani (Dong Sak pier). Understand the journey will take approximately 4 hours (please confirm this) from Hat Yai airport to Surat Thani. What would be the rate for such taxi/minivan? Is it easy to get it straight from the counters at the airport or should I pre-book prior to leaving? Any contacts?
Additionally, I would like to know the ferry schedule to-and-fro Surat Thani and Koh Phangan or Koh Samui. When is the first ferry in and the last ferry out from the island/mainland?
Much thanks!
