I have heard about the popular Song Kran and plan to go next year, some one please share some experience "v"

Three days of drunken debauchery combined with the worlds biggest watergun fight. I find it tiring and this year was sick, so I hunkered down at home. But if you have the energy for it, it's a lot of fun.

Chiang Mai is the place to be. Tourists, expats and Thais flock here for 5 days of Water games. After spending three Songkrans in both Chiang Mai and sometime in Bangkok, Chiang Mai takes the biscuit everytime :)

I've only ever celebrated it in Mukdahan, so that's all I can speak of.
