Hi,
Given the dry season at the moment, is it necessary to have water-proof footwear for short treks (few days) in Northern Thailand?
Thanks very much for your help,
mbryant

Hi mbtynt,
Welcome to Travelfish
Generally speaking a pair of well-fitting sandals are sufficient -- no need to pack the trekking boots. If you don't have any they can be easily purchased in tourist centres in northern Thailand.
