Thailand Double Entry Visa

  • aandgwal

I will be making a brief 30-day trip to Thailand, Laos and Cambodia this summer flying in and out of Bangkok. I understand that UK citizens can get a 30-day 'visa' on arrival but does this still apply for land crossing back into Thailand again from Cambodia some 20 days later? Do I need to arrange a tourist visa or double-entry visa before I leave or will the 30-day visa issued on arrival be adequate?

The 30-day visa-exempt entry expires when you leave Thailand, but you automatically get another one when you re-enter. However you only get 15 days if entering by land border, so if that's not enough fly in for 30 days or get a proper visa at the Thai embassy in Phnom Penh.
