Looking for a beach front hostel recommendation for Phuket or Phi Phi..
Looking to stay on the beach in a bungalow nothing to high end, but something quiet.
If there are better island suggestions I am open to those as well... We will be in the Phuket area just after the new year.

"Hostel" as in "cheap with dorms" is kind of hard to find on those islands, and non-existent on a beachfront (mostly reserved for high-end resorts). Check out Sea Blue Backpacker Hostel or Patong Backpackers Hostel or Pineapple Guesthouse on Phuket. On Phi Phi look for The Rock or other "under-600" place here on Travelfish
