Heading to the New Years party and looking for a great place to stay preferably in the Haad Rin West area.
Any recommendations?

There are loads of places so it is very hard to recommend something without knowing your budget and requirements.
If you have a look on www.phangan.info there are descriptions of some of the accommodations and it may help you out.
