Hi all,
We're travelling to Thailand for 2 weeks. Hoping to go to Phi Phi for a 4-5 and then over to Ko Samui for a couple of days and about 5-6 days in Ko Tao. Looking for a relaxing-ish holiday but we are unable to go for more than 2 weeks. Should we leave out Phi Phi and go to the islands on the East side instead? Or is 2 weeks enough. Don't want to go home feeling exhausted from cramming things in.
What time of the year are you going? You may want to take a look at our weather map for Thailand to check the climate, as in wet season, PP can be very wet.
Weather aside, you could fit them all in two weeks -- there's a fair bit of transport in there, but not too much.

Thanks for your reply somtam2000. We will be going at the end of August. Now I know this is rainy season but friends of ours went at the same time last year and it was fine for them. Also we are unable to go at any other time.
I shoudl have mentioned too that we are planning to fly in to Phuket (via Bangkok of course), then get the boat to Phi Phi (stay for 5 days or so) and then back. Then fly across to Ko Samui, stay there for a couple of days. Then boat to Koh Tao (staying there for about 4-5 days). Then boat back to Samui and on by plane home.
Should be fine -- my only comment would be if you don't want to fly from Phuket to Samui (and thus skip on back tracking to Phuket), any travel agent on Phi Phi will be able to sell you a ferry/bus/ferry combo to Samui.
