Hi there, I was wondering if anyone has any advice on obtaining a Chinese visa in Chang Mai? I've heard it's quite simple but also that you can't do it. I will be there in late Dec hoping for a Chinese visa for early Feb, any information would be greatly appreciated.

The Chinese consulate is just outside the southern gate of the old city. Cost depends on your nationality (USA/Thai/Other). Price list here
