Hey everybody just wondering what my options are for getting from Koh Chang to Koh samui?

Do I have to back track to go to Bangkok in order to get a bus or train from there to Surahthani?

Does anyone know if you can fly from Trat to Surahthani?

I have done quite a bit of reading on here but haven't seen anything in these forums.

    Any recommendations are much appreciated!

    Cheers,

    Jonny Mac

    Hi Jonny,

Easiest, fastest, and most expensive way is to fly (Trat to Phuket), then go by bus to Surat. Otherwise, train from Bangkok is probably best. Better than taking the bus, anyway.

There are actually quite a few entries on this topic. Here's one that was posted just a couple of weeks ago,

I have been looking at ways to get from Ko Chang to Samui.
You can fly from Samui to Trat by going on Bangkok airways website.
Once ay Trat it's very easy to get to Ko Chang.

    Hope this helps
