Thanks everyone . I got this train last year so i sort of know what to expect i will be taking a cardigan for the cold journeys . Not going to india but hopefully in the future . Also planning on going laos and cambodia does anyone know how long il be at the boarder for if i turn up without a visa ?

Does anyone know if the train service from bangkok to chiang mai isbk to normal. Dont fancy a 10 hour bus journey . Thanks

Took the journey on sunday. Bring some warm clothes and a flexible schedule. my train was freezing cold and about an hour late.
