backpacking in march - 2 girls

    Can anybody recommend as what to do and where to go once we hit bangkok airport - time is closing in on our departure date and we find doing research from sites a bit contradictary as to what to do when we get there or how to go about it!??Places to stay in/recommended means olf travelling in bangkok and resorts southwards from there would be great help!!

    that's a really broad question, and impossible to answer without input from you about what you like to do and why you booked a thailand holiday in the first place.

    for first-time visitors to bangkok, stay in the khao san road area or some of the nearby side streets. that puts you near many of the most popular sites in bangkok, and in the heart of the travellers area where you can pick up lots of information.

    for getting around bangkok, there is a good transit system, but from the airport you are likely best off taking a taxi.

    folks on the site here are pretty happy to answer questions and make recommendations, but there is a difference between that and asking people to plan your trip for you. you'll find all the info you need on good places to stay and how to get from b to a right on the site. ta.
