Probably a half million tourists will be around in April. Although November through February gets more tourists - tourists show up every month of the year. Some tourists only visit during the off season. During the off season hotels are cheaper and you often can get a room with a walk-in too.

Expect hot weather but most tourists can adjust to it.

Young tourists often head for Khao San Road for accommodation and to associate with other similar aged kids. Slightly more mature or want to use the Skytrain or even sample adult nightlife perhaps stay in the Sukhumvit Road area. You can use the Skytrain (rail service) in this area. It is even possible to take a train from the airport to some hotels in the city but not KSR. (No rail service after midnight.)

Sorry, I couldn't resist. Are you looking for travel companions? If yes - I would recommend against it. Lone wolf it and you won't have to compromise on where you are going to go, what you are going to do or when you are going to do it.

no problem Madmac, no i don't need travel campanions. Butt i like no meet other people that are traveling also in that period. It's always nice. It's my first time as backpacker. I hope to enjoy my trip.
