Solo Female Traveller March-April

I'll be travelling by myself throughout Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam from March 24-April 20. It'd be nice to have some people to meet up with at certain points in my trip.

wow same places and around the same dates I'm going! Vietnam March 21-4. Thailand April 4-16. Cambodia/Thailand not sure yet, April 16-22. Have you any plans on where you will be going in each country?

Yup I have my whole itinerary completed. For Thailand I'm going to Bangkok, Koh Phangan, Aonang, Phuket, Koh Phi Phi and in Vietnam I'm going to Ho Chi Minh City, Hoi An and Hanoi and in Cambodia I'm only going to Siem Reap.

Thailand - March 24 - 29
Cambodia - March 29 - April 2
Thailand - April 2 - 14
Vietnam - April 14 - 20

Have you thought of where you want to go in the 3 countries?

Vietnam: Ho Chi Minh -> Nha Trang -> Da Nang -> Hoi An -> Hue -> Hanoi -> Ha long bay

Cambodia: Phnom Penh -> Kampong Thom -> Siem Reap

Thailand: I'm going to be there March 7-20 and April 4-16. Not sure where exactly I'll be in March but April I'm going to south towards Koh Phangan, Surat, and Krabi.

Are you going to full moon party in April on Koh Phangan? I've been trying to figure out where to stay but haven't made up my mind.

Aside from meeting people, it's also nice to have some Travel Bargains with them. Don't you think so? I hope you'd be able to meet new people during your travel.

Yup I'm going to the full moon party. I'm staying at a resort as all the other places didn't appeal to me. It's more expensive, but it'll be worth it.

I'll be in the South part of Thailand in April as well.

Where are you from?

I'm heading to Koh Phangan. I might head to Koh Samui for a day trip at some point. I'm heading to other islands too. Pretty much island hopping for 1.5 weeks. What about you guys?

Sweet..I grew up in Ontario but am in Alberta now.

We will be going the same.. I think we are in Bangkok until about the 5th or so followed by 1.5 weeks in the Islands. After that we are off to Cambodia for a few days. I dont know if we will make Koh Phangan or not but will be doing a few Islands...
Can't Wait!!!

nice to meet another torontian on here... i was in SEA last year for about 3 months, met a couple people from toronto as well while i was out there, small world...

you guys been to SEA before? how much time you have out there, less than a month??

and where's your lay-over in, hong kong by chance? and are you spending time where your stop-over is, or heading straight to sea?

We are in Thailand on the same dates and going to visit almost the same places.

I will be in Thailand from the 2nd of April till the 14th.

Going to spend time in Bangkok - Koh Phangan - Phuket - Phiphi - Krabi

Haha age is only a number! I'm 29 going on 30 but don't feel it. Well if we are all in the same area at the same time we should meet up. Below are my exact dates.

Bangkok Mar 24 - 29 (will be doing day trips from here and shopping)
Bangkok Apr 2-4
Koh Phangan Apr 4-8
Aonang Apr 8-9
Koh Phi Phi Apr 9-12
Phuket Apr 12-14

yeah age is just a number, but better late than never.... i was actually 30 as well when i started my SEA trip, celebrated my 31st birthday in july in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.

would have been nice to have started this way earlier in my late teen's or early 20's, during my journey, met alot of travellers around my age, but the age range is all over the place there...

My travel plans are not that fixed..happy to go with the flow...I am thinking along the lines of:

Steve - I'm trying to get a group of us together for the FMP. Are you interested in meeting up with us before the party just so we get to know each other?

Soumya sorry we didn't meet up. 24th was a very long day and got no sleep that night so the 25th was a very long day. Are you still in Thailand? Maybe we can catch up somewhere else.
