does anyone know how to get back from koh phangan to koh samui after the half moon party since i heard there is no overnight ferry for half moon party?

You hang out till the first boat in the morning! Just get a room. It is better anyway to have a place for your stuff. Even if you already have a room in Samui it is worth it.

I know the first boat is at 7am, I just wanna know if there is any boat before 7am since I dun wanna wait till 7am to go back Coz I booked a hotel in koh samui already

This is just a case of bad planning, most people are still passed or dancing on the beach until 10am - In the morning it's great to see the aftermath - all the garbage and crap on the beach, not a pretty sight. In my opinon the FMP is a waste of time.
